Jesus Outreach Ministry has several ministries available to serve you and your family at every stage of life. There’s something for everyone; we invite you to explore all we are and get connected.
Food Pantry
JOM currently services the Hillside, Bellwood, Maywood, and Berkley areas in Illinois with a combined household of approximately $9500 in which 20% are below the poverty line. The pantry was started to meet the nutritious needs of the community. Prior to us starting a partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD), a pantry in this community did not exist. To date, we are the first organization to partner with GCFD to provide food for the residents of Hillside, Bellwood, Maywood and Berkley. Our goal is to end hunger and provide emergency food assistance to the residents of the community once a week. We hope our efforts will positively impact hundreds of individuals and their families financially, physically and spiritually.
The food pantry is open every Wednesday from 4:30-6:30 pm.
Team Ministry
Pastor Ellis teaches a message of faith, deliverance, and healing that focuses on knowing who and whom you are in God. Pastor Ellis has trained and released Outreach Teams to minister to Detainees, Nursing Homes, Homeless Shelter’s, Deliverance Teams, and to the body of Christ. Through prayers and teaching the Word of God, our team’s ministries have seen the Holy Spirit move mighty.
Community Service Program
Many teens are required to perform community service hours for their high schools. We offer community service hours to teens throughout the community in order to enhance their skills, build relationships and gain meaningful experiences. We also offer community service hours for adults who need to fulfill their court order requirements.
